Soul-Full Sunday Series: Goal Getters

UPDATE: This event has been postponed to Sunday, February 3rd. Ticket are still available.

I define a goal getter as a person who chases after their goals. Who attacks them with tenacity and confidence, which ultimately yields success.

The new year is a time where people set large and lofty resolutions- and while I don't discourage that, I want to make sure that those resolutions are supported by SMART goals (specific, measureable, attainable, relevant, and timely). I want to help you create a roadmap of how those resolutions can be turned into a reality.

Join me on the first Sunday Funday of 2019 as we come together as a whole to figure out what we want this year to bring and HOW we will achieve it.

Ticket price includes a goal setting workshop (applicable to ANY goal or resolution you can dream up), supplies needed to create a goal garland- an aesthetically pleasing way of displaying your goals so that you are reminded of them on a daily basis, AND one delicious craft beer.

Can't wait to see you there!

Seeking Light and Setting Intentions

Feel the warmth of candlelight and connection with other women as we come together at Card De A, a recently re-opened gem in South Redondo Beach.

Here, each woman will have the opportunity to select a candle that speaks to what she is looking to get more out of in life: love, openness, growth, strength, healing, or energy. We will use that to light to shine brightness on her vision.

This is an opportunity for women to gain clarity on what they want and to FEEL what it would be like to have it.

Candles have been used for thousand of years, spanning across all religions. During this event, one of Card De A’s owners, Lilah Volpe-Emerson, is expanding her candle business, Seeking Light, for this experience and is creating personalized candles so we can light up our visions and get clear on our intentions.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Marina Braff, will lead a visualization mediation, followed by a journaling activity that will allow you to get your visions written out for you to read and share with others in your life.

Ticket price includes a customized candle, visualization and intention setting workshop, and some tasty treats to get your creative juices flowing so you can DREAM BIG.

Register here by Thursday, January 3rd.

Soul-Full Sunday: Cornucopias and Crowlers for the Community

It is officially the holiday season. We are all so fortunate to live in a community as beautiful and connected as this one. Let's come together for our second Soul-Full Sunday and create beauty, drink some beers, AND give back to those that are less fortunate.

For this month's event, we will be making cornucopias and filling them with succulents- a perfect center piece for Thanksgiving. And other than it's fall picture-esque nature, it is a symbol for abundance, simple pleasures, and nourishment. Who wouldn't want that in their home?

As we craft these beauties, we will give thanks for our blessings and talk about the ways we can incorporate gratitude practices into our every day life. All studies (and people that do this) agree that gratitude makes you happier- and when we are happier, so is everyone else around us.

We are partnering up with Food Pantry LAX and will be collecting canned foods and non-perishable items. See suggestions below:

  1. Cerial/granola

  2. Canned beans/chili

  3. Spaghetti sauce

  4. Canned veggies (corn, green beans, peas, etc.)

  5. Jars of jam and/or peanut butter

  6. Granola bars/protein bars

  7. Canned tuna

$10 worth of goods gets your one Crowler to take home or 2 full pours you can drink while you craft.

Bring your friends, your donation items, and come ready for a Soul-FULL Sunday Funday!
