It is officially the holiday season. We are all so fortunate to live in a community as beautiful and connected as this one. Let's come together for our second Soul-Full Sunday and create beauty, drink some beers, AND give back to those that are less fortunate.
For this month's event, we will be making cornucopias and filling them with succulents- a perfect center piece for Thanksgiving. And other than it's fall picture-esque nature, it is a symbol for abundance, simple pleasures, and nourishment. Who wouldn't want that in their home?
As we craft these beauties, we will give thanks for our blessings and talk about the ways we can incorporate gratitude practices into our every day life. All studies (and people that do this) agree that gratitude makes you happier- and when we are happier, so is everyone else around us.
We are partnering up with Food Pantry LAX and will be collecting canned foods and non-perishable items. See suggestions below:
Cerial/granola
Canned beans/chili
Spaghetti sauce
Canned veggies (corn, green beans, peas, etc.)
Jars of jam and/or peanut butter
Granola bars/protein bars
Canned tuna
$10 worth of goods gets your one Crowler to take home or 2 full pours you can drink while you craft.
Bring your friends, your donation items, and come ready for a Soul-FULL Sunday Funday!
